About Ranch-Roots
Friends! I am so happy you are hanging out with me!
I would like to start off by telling you a little bit about myself so you can better know me. Growing up I have always had a passion for animals especially farm animals.
I grew up riding horses most of my life and then in 6th grade I had the opportunity to raise bottle calves. I have always loved cows and started off with my first calf, Oscar, a big Charolais bull. He grew and grew and grew and before you knew it, he was over 2000 pounds! From I got the chance to start raising Holstein calves in high school.
I began with about five calves and within a couple months I was set up and feeding over 80 bottle calves, along with 30+ feeder calves. My passion for raising these calves also earned me enough money to put myself through College where I continued my education. My love for cows continues to grow still to this day.
Fast forward several years, I find myself working and building a life alongside my best friend. I ride through cattle on horseback, care for animals, I’m out in the wide-open space, breathing in the fresh air and see beautiful scenery daily. For me, this is a fairytale dream that has come true!
In 2010 by the grace of God, my best friend became my husband. And when I didn’t think life could be any more perfect a few years later in 2013 we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, and blessed once again in 2019 with a handsome baby boy. My heart and my world belong to these loves in my life. God has truly blessed me.
My husband is one of the hardest working men I know. I cherish his work ethic and his love for his family. He is quiet, kind, loving, humble, and honest as the day is long. He has taught me so much over the years, and has helped me become the person I am today. He doesn’t have a typical 9 am – 5 pm job. He is a rancher. He works seven days a week, and countless hours a day. In ranch life you will find your job is never done, there is always more to do!
I am truly thankful for this ranch life! It is a life that shows you values, hard work, responsibility, satisfaction, gratitude, working for tomorrow and the next generation, and best of all keeps you true to your roots. Over the years my passion has grown stronger and stronger, and now I am sharing it with you. My family works hard raising quality healthy beef to put food on the table for families like yours.

It isn’t easy the life that we chose - but we get back on and ride again… Welcome to the ranch!
Always true to my roots,
